About the Main Street Program

The Richmond Main Street program seeks to revitalize downtown by bringing people “UP”-Town with “Unlimited Possibilities”—to shop, to do business, to meet new and old friends and neighbors, to learn and enjoy themselves. The Richmond Main Street program strives to promote a spirit within the city and surrounding community to unify our citizens, preserve our heritage and restore the unique character of our downtown.

Historical downtown Richmond, the center of the Richmond Main Street program, offers residents and tourists the opportunity to learn about the past through its tourist sites, as well as the opportunity to enjoy fine restaurants and unique stores.
